Sebring Pedal Box and separate master cylinders for use on the Frogeye

Available from Wheeler & Davis - more details to follow.

Rear Hub Nuts

I have found that draper supply a 47mm socket that is almost perfect. I needed to de-burr the inner edges a little with a small half round file but after that it was perfect. Requires a 3/4” drive adapter. Socket cost me about £13 plus delivery.

Track Rod Ends and Alloys

I had to remove about 3/16” from the replacement track rod ends. I also fitted a slightly lower profile Nyloc and the result was that I have about 1/8” clear gap between the nyloc and the inner rim of the alloy - better than none ! I will see if K-Nuts improve this at all.

Wiring conversion from Dynamo to Alternator (and to negative earth as well!)

It is a straight forward exercise and I will explain how to do this on a separate ‘page’. I have used a replacement frogeye loom (harness!) just in case someone in the future wants to revert back to originality ! Click here for more info.

Rear Salve Cylinders

Ah, you say, fitting them little spring retainers. I am using some small external circlips (the type with 2 little holes at the opening) with a washer below. I think this is what is meant to be there anyway, but you don’t get them in the box!!

Front Bonnet catching

The back edge of the bonnet (lip) catches very slightly on the bodywork when it is opened. I have been advised that this lip should be angled in towards the front of the car.( from Brian Wheeler)

Clutch Hose

I ordered a Goodridge s/steel hose from the MGOC spares section and found this to be the cheapest by far (about 35% of the cost from Automec). I intend fitting this like the 1275 Midgets, unlike the coil of pipe that a lot of people seem to fit.
